What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions? Go in to detail about your plans for the 5 day weekend.
This Thanksgiving I'm just having dinner with my family that live here. We usually switch off between just having it here and having it here but also having it at my mom's parents in Missouri. This year, though, my mom's high school made the Missouri State Championship so we are going to St. Louis to watch them play on Friday.

Reflecting on the comments and grade of your stop-motion animation... what you would do differently if you had to do it all over again? Would you manage your time better? Find better lighting for your photos? Come up with a better idea? Explain what you would change about your video.
If I could do anything differently, I would try to find better lighting and try to keep the camera more steady and focused. Some people said that my video had too much going on or it was too busy so I would try to cut out some details that aren't needed to make the video clearer. I would probably come up with a different idea and not wait until the last couple days to take the pictures. I would also try to keep the camera in the same place because my camera angles moved a lot throughout the video.

Tell me about your experience with taking your stop-motion photos. What problems did you run in to? What did you find difficult about the process? What would you go back and change about HOW you took the photos? Explain yourself.
Parts of it were difficult because I had to figure out how I was going to do certain things, like moving objects across gaps. I did find it hard to keep the camera steady. If i could go back and change it, I would probably change to stay in the same spot while take pictures to make it look more like a video. It was fun I guess but it was complicated, like most everything is.

Tell me about your weekend.
On Saturday morning I went to my grandparents house to help them start moving into their new retirement home apartment thing. Then Saturday afternoon one of my friends came over and we hung out and then went to the Legends. We ate at Stix, which is like those Japanese chop em up places. It was good. After that we went back home and watched Bad Grandpa, the unrated cut, and then he slept over. On Sunday I went to church and watched football.

My idea is basically just making a meal and then eating it,. Its original and creative because it is making a quesadilla which I'm sure not very many people do at home that often. This will basically show getting the ingredients, putting the quesadilla together, moving the quesadilla over to the quesadilla cooker, cutting it, getting a drink, moving the drink and quesadilla over to the table, and then eating the quesadilla.

What is stop motion animation? If you don't know, look it up! Explain.
Stop motion animation is basically taking pictures of people or things in different positions and then putting the pictures together to make it look like the person or thing is moving. The person in charge makes little tiny adjustments to each thing for every frame. And I mean TINY adjustments like moving a persons arm up a centimeter.

Tell me about your idea for your 5 frame story board. What is the plot? How do you plan to make the story creative? Who's the main character? What is the beginning, middle and end? Tell me about your plan of attack.
My story is just going to be me walking into school, at my locker, in class, at my locker after school, and leaving the school. The main character is me. It basically going to show how my school day goes.

Yesterday you edited and uploaded photos to your blog. Tell me more about your photos. HOW did you edit them? Why did you choose the photos that you did? Explain your assignment.
Well, I chose five photos that I liked. Most of them were edited with the burn effect and changing the exposure. I also added the sketch, crystalized, and pixelated effects to them. We were basically tasked to edit the photo and make it better and cooler and I believe that how I edited them made them better and cooler.

On Friday I hung out with some of my friends for Halloween. Over the weekend I went to IKEA and were in there for about two hours. The place is huge but it's actually pretty cool. On Sunday, I went to the Chiefs game. We went early and tailgated for about two hours. The Chiefs dominated early on and dominated late in the game too giving them a good win against the Jets, who aren't a very good team. But every win counts.

What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? Explain any background or knowledge you have about photography and photo editing. Do you like it? Do you have any interest?
Photography is cool. I do take photos when I see something I like or when I'm on vacation. So I guess you could say I'm interested it but I don't usually edit my photos. I don't know a ton about it but it does interest me. I enjoy taking pictures of places and cool buildings.

Blog Post of the Day:
Tell me about your weekend. Share pics!
Well on Friday I left at 8:00 with the band to go to St. Louis for the Bands of America Super Regional. We stooped at the Columbia Mall for lunch and hung out there for about an hour then got back on the road. When we go to St. Louis we went to our hotel and checked in and got settled in. Our hotel was right next to Busch Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals play. Sadly, they were no longer in the playoffs so we didn't get to see them. We hung out at the hotel for about an hour or two. We left the hotel around 5:00 and went to the Edward Jones Dome to perform our preliminary performance run of our show. It was out best show we have ever had at BOA St. Louis. Once that was done we went back to our hotel and had pizza and played games and stuff until it was time to go to bed. On Saturday, we all checked out of our hotel, loaded the buses, and went to this place called Adrenaline Zone. Its pretty much like Power Play, just not as many games. It was still fun though. We played laser tag and whirly ball for two hours there and just chilled there. It was fun. We left to go back to the Edwards Jones Dome to hear preliminary awards. Sadly, we did not make finals like we were hoping to.We did place 25th out of 64 thought, which was good.We left the dome and walked to the Arch and had dinner on the river's edge under it. When that was over we walked back to the dome to watch the finals performances. There were some extremely good bands. We watched all the finals performances but left before the awards. We got back Sunday morning at about 3:30. On Sunday I watched football and did homework.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.
There are points in this letter as well. There is a certain time and place for certain attire. And yes, teachers aren't out to get you or upset you. There are many points in both this letter and the article. I won't say either one is wrong or right. I agree with stuff in both articles. I disagree with stuff in both articles. Both students, teachers, and the dress code need to respected during school. That's all there is to it.

The perfect curriculum for me would any science class, social studies classes and anything class that has to do with band. So, basically those class would be marching band, jazz band, anatomy, biology, chemistry, world history, and U.S history. These are classes I actually like so I would try to do good in them so I would study for tests and pay attention most of the time in class. Gotta have those mental breaks still. A few of these classes would be the same. Jazz band, marching band, anatomy, and world history are classes I am taking now. But the other ones are ones I have already taken or will be taking in the next two years.

The following article was in the September issue of The Tiger Print. Read the article (even if you already have) and respond to it below. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Consider all perspectives of the article while you respond.
I do agree with this article. Girls should be able to dress how they. Take for example, spirit days. We had toga day this year and a ton of guys came in with a bed sheet on. No undershirt. They were showing off their shoulders. Does that mean girls were turned on by that? No, it doesn't. I mean sure guys like it when girls show their shoulders and stuff. We're guys, that's what we do. We should be able to control ourselves around girls that are not covering up their shoulders or their thighs. Guys do need to practice self control around girls, because, honestly, we don't have any. We just do whatever the heck we want. Because we are guys and we don't think. We just want to impress the girls. As long as the girls aren't showing anything bad, then they should be allowed to wear whatever they want. The guys dress how they want. Now let the girls dress how they want.

Tell me about your weekend! If you don't have anything fun to share, tell me about the city you live in. What do you love about Kansas City? Do you have a favorite place in the city? Favorite team? :) Favorite event? Explain
This weekend I traveled with the marching band to Blue Springs High School for our first marching competition. In preliminary performance we placed first in the 5A class sweeping every award. Oh and BV West got second. To us. We made it to finals and placed 3rd overall out of 12 bands that made it to finals. We beat West again, this time by two places.

Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!
Well on Friday I marched in the homecoming parade with the band and played at the football game with band and the 8th grade band students. On Saturday I mowed the yard and watched football. I didn't go to homecoming. On Sunday I went to church and watched more football.

Imagine Mr. Bacon has asked you to suggest one way of improving Blue Valley High School to make it a better place for students. Think about the changes that are needed at your school. Pick one change you feel would really make a difference and explain what it is and why you'd make the change.
I think that having longer passing periods is a change that would make a difference because at the warning bell everyone who hasn't gone to class yet leaves then which creates a huge traffic jam in some places so some people are late because they can't get through. Having longer passing periods would also help when students need to use the restroom because there are usually lines and people who have to wait forever can be late to class as well.

What are your favorite apps on your phone or tablet? Why?
My favorite apps that I have are Netflix, Clash of Clans, Madden, 9 innings, and well, pretty much all the games on my phone and iPad. These are my favorites because if you are waiting for something then they are a good waste of time and they are fun. Especially during long car rides.
