Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I do agree somewhat with this news article, thought it is a little harsh. We do have to be responsible and we are needed to make things happen but i think we should be allowed to have fun while doing it. It should not be all work and fun. If we only had work, we would not have any new ideas.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?

A public service announcement is basically an ad you can find on TV or in a newspaper or on any media device. They all have an objective to raise awareness about something or changing attitudes and behaviors to certain subjects. I don't quite remember the name of the company of the public service announcement I can recall but I have seen the 5 minute long PSA about the dog shelter and how they need homes.

After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."


After watching Kutcher's speech I took away the fact that we can change how we live and we don't have live how others want us to. Life is whatever we make. We live how we want to live. To me, this quote means we can do whatever we want. We can change how things are done in our lives and we could possibly make things better for others. We all play a part in creating our lives and each other's lives.
